During the Christmas holidays we headed from Toronto to Montreal to Stoneham in Quebec to try for the first time dog sledding as well as spend some time on the hills snowboarding! The weather was ideal. Cold enough to do these activities but warm enough that it’s enjoyable. We stayed in a little chalet overlooking a frozen pond and a view with the most gorgeous scenery of the mountainside. It had snowed all night and so as we woke up the next day, the snow had been untouched and looked like any child’s dream when waking up on christmas morning!
The place that we stayed was called Aventure Nord-Bec. I recommend anyone interested in dog sledding, snowboarding and in Quebec, to definitely check it out. I always find that when I’m travelling, I’m always up for a new activity. Maybe it’s slowly checking off my bucket list, or it’s a craving for a new experience, or maybe it’s the exhilaration of an activity at a greater velocity. Whatever it is I love it!
Let me know what kind of activities you like to do when you’re travel!
